Brian Forrest

Following his retirement from the United States Army and subsequent support to the Defense industry, Brian founded Patriots International on the principals of Professionalism, Expertise, and Knowledge.

Brian Forrest is the Founder of Patriots International.
Brian honorably retired from the United States Army after 21 years of service. After several leadership and staff assignments as an Army Aviator with deployments to both Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iraq, Brian transitioned to the Army Acquisition Corps. His acquisition assignments began in the Utility Helicopters Project Office and culminated within the Fixed Wing Project Office as the Product Manager for the Special Electronic Mission Aircraft fleet. Prior to leading the SEMA Product Office, he was selected as a Department of Defense Congressional Fellow supporting Senator Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) in all defense related matters. Following the Congressional Fellowship, Brian was an Army Legislative Liaison coordinating Army policy with both the Senate and House Armed Services Committees. Before his final assignment as a Product Manager, Brian deployed to Afghanistan facilitating theater-wide aviation logistics in support of a Special Operations Command Task Force.
Brian is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science degree in International Relations, received a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from St. Mary’s University-San Antonio, a Master of Business Administration degree from the Naval Postgraduate School, and a Certificate of Legislative Studies from the Government Affairs Institute at Georgetown University.
Brian and his wife Suzanne have been happily married for 27 years and have two children. Suzanne has been a high school math teacher for 15 years after transitioning from her public accounting career. Grace is an ICU nurse and Alex works as an accountant with both living in Charlotte, NC.

A recognized military and industry leader, Reese brings more than 30 years of leadership and experience in the DOD and industry market. He serves as the President of Patriots International leading an exceptional team of proven professionals, overseeing all functional activities in support of daily operations, and providing the strategic vision to continue building upon the company’s past successes.
Before joining Patriots, Reese was the SVP Army Programs for Axient-an industry leading government technology services company and solutions provider. Prior to Axient, he was a Vice President at QuantiTech where he led the Army Aviation Division thru the transformation from a small to large systems engineering and integration company. Before joining the industry sector, Reese served a 21-year career in the Army with extensive experience in Aviation, Program Management and Contracting.
Reese earned his Master’s degree from the Florida Institute of Technology and Bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama.

Ryan Boyle provides direct support to Army Futures Command where he leads analytic and studies efforts to deliver innovative and affordable solutions to meet the rapidly evolving threat environment and ensure the Army’s readiness and dominance on the multi-domain battlefield.

As the Director for Army Modernization, Ryan Boyle provides direct support to Army Futures Command where he leads analytic and studies efforts to deliver innovative and affordable solutions to meet the rapidly evolving threat environment and ensure the Army’s readiness and dominance on the multi-domain battlefield.
Ryan honorably retired from the United States Army after 22 years of service. Ryan served in various leadership and staff positions with multiple combat deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. Notable assignments included Battalion Commander, 5-101st Assault Helicopter Battalion, Director of Plans and Policy (G5) 101st Airborne Division, Director of the J5 Plans for US Forces Afghanistan, and Aviation Platforms Branch Chief HQDA G-8.
Ryan received his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, and Master in Public Policy and Management (MPPM) from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs (GSPIA). Ryan also served as an Army G3 Fellow at the George C. Marshall European Center for Security Studies focusing on NATO security issues and later serving as the Deputy Course Director for the Programs on Terrorism and Security Studies as well as Counter Narcotics and Transnational Crime. Ryan is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Ryan has been married to his lovely wife Tracey, an elementary school teacher, for over 24 years and has three nearly grown children. The youngest, Emily, joining her sister Maggie at Auburn University next year. His oldest son, Riley, is an elementary school teacher in the Madison County Schools. Ryan and family currently reside in Madison, AL.

Brian Sabourin
Brian Sabourin serves as the Director of Army Aviation for Patriots International, a position that he has held since February of 2019. With over 44 years of corporate, acquisition, and program management experience across the U.S. Navy, U.S. Army, and DoD-related Industry, he has extensive experience leading organizations in business development, strategic planning, acquisition planning & guidance, program management, and organizational development.
Brian currently supports the Acquisition Systems Management office at the Program Management Office, Aviation (PEO AVN) HQ-level and provides senior-level guidance, advice, and vision to a team comprised of Government Civilian and Government Contractor personnel.
An experienced leader, effective communicator and strategic thinker with exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills, Brian is committed to exemplifying Army values in the private sector.
Prior to his retirement in 2015 from the Army, Brian served as the Deputy Program Manager for two of PEO AVN’s Program Management Offices (PMO): the Aviation Systems PMO (now the Aviation Mission Systems & Architecture PMO) and the Fixed Wing PMO.
Brian is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering. He is level-III certified in Program Management, Systems Engineering / Research, Development & Engineering, and Production & Quality Mgt through the Defense Acquisition University.
Brian and his wife, Jean, have been happily married for over 39 years, live in Athens, AL, and have three daughters, Jennifer, Kaitlyn, and Allison. Jean is retired, while Jennifer and Kaitlyn are both married, living and working in Spring Hill, TN, and Huntsville, AL, respectively. Allison is currently a 4th year graduate student in Auburn University’s School of Veterinary Medicine.

Matt Anderson serves as the Director of Missiles and Space for Patriots International and supports the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office under Program Executive Office – Missiles and Space.

Matt Anderson serves as the Director of Missiles and Space for Patriots International and supports the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office under Program Executive Office - Missiles and Space. He is a retired Army Colonel and a former Acquisition Level III Certified Program Manager.
Matt has supported the US Government both as a military officer and contractor for over 30 years. Originally branching Field Artillery, Matt served in both towed and mechanized units for 15 years before transitioning into the US Army Acquisition Corps. He served as the Assistant Product Manager for Field Artillery Launchers at PEO Missiles and Space, board-select Product Manager for Petroleum and Water Systems in PEO Combat Support and Combat Service Support, Project Director for Directed Energy- Indirect Fire Protection Capability at the Rapid Capabilities and Critical Technology Office, and Military Deputy at PEO Aviation.
Matt is a graduate of the University of Toledo with a bachelor’s degree in History, a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Cincinnati, and a Masters in National Security and Strategic Studies from the United States Naval War College. He is a certified Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level Advanced in Program Management.

Jason Songy serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Patriots International.
Jason Songy
Jason Songy serves as the Chief Technology Officer for Patriots International. He is an accomplished engineer with over 20 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense and various Army programs. He possesses comprehensive knowledge of the engineering lifecycle and program management.
Jason has led projects to final system delivery, managing diverse teams of engineers to deliver products for organizations such as the Missile Defense Agency (MDA), THAAD Project Office, PATRIOT Project Office, Program Executive Office Command Control and Communication-Tactical (PEO-C3T), and NASA. He has significant experience in agile methodologies, guiding teams through iterative development processes to ensure project completion. Jason currently supports the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Project Office, under Program Executive Office for Missiles and Space (PEO M&S). As an agile software product owner, Jason contributes to the development of the US Army’s Integrated Battle Command System (IBCS). IBCS, is the cornerstone of air and missile defense modernization efforts, providing transformational mission command with increased capabilities to the battlefield faster.
Throughout his career, Jason has led software development projects and possesses expertise in design, programming, testing, and training. For the US Army, he developed simulators for UAS and rotary-winged aircraft and provided pre-deployment training for UAS and air defense crews. Jason has run simulations, analyzed command and control data, and led interoperability tests of the THAAD and Patriot missile systems utilizing tactical data links. His expertise includes software development using multiple languages, IDEs, MBSE, and collaboration tools. Additionally, he has developed software in secure cloud environments using federal infrastructure. Jason holds a Master of Science in Management of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He also holds multiple CompTIA certifications and has received numerous professional and community awards.
Jason and his wife, Angie, have been married for over 28 years and have four children. Angie has dedicated over 20 years to teaching at St. John's Catholic School in Madison. Their oldest son, Sam, is a University of Alabama graduate and works as a Software Engineer. Allie, also an Alabama graduate, is a Financial Analyst in Orlando Florida. Luke is an undergraduate student at UAH and member of the baseball team. Lastly, Demi is a middle school student, athlete, artist, and budding comedian.
